Josef Albers’s “Repeat and Reverse” above the entrance to the Yale Art & Architecture Building, completed in 1963. It was one of several sculptures created specifically for the building at the invitation of architect Paul Rudolph. Under his tenure, Yale established the first graduate program in graphic design in the United States.
