“Odds Volumes: Book Art from the Allan Chasanoff Collection” was a winner of Design Observer’s “50 Books | 50 Covers” 2014 competition and is featured in a newly published accompanying catalogue, pictured here. Designed by Chris Sleboda MFA ’03, “Odd Volumes” is the catalogue for a recent Yale University Art Gallery exhibition that showcased experimental book art donated to the gallery by Allan Chasanoff BA ’61. Sleboda, who is the gallery’s director of graphic design, is also the co-founder of Draw Down Books, which publishes and distributes small books on art and design.
