Angel’s Egg, a 1985 Japanese anime film directed by Mamoru Oshii, is being screened this evening at 8 at the School of Art, in Room GD107. This poster, which was designed by Raf Rennie MFA ‘16 and is currently up in the Green Hall lobby, is a study in formal and typographic contrasts. “Angel’s Egg” is set in Ogg, a calligraphic typeface designed by Lucas Sharp and released by the foundry Village in 2013.
