Yale logo usage guidelines, as seen on the back cover of The Production Line of Happiness, the exhibition catalog for photographer and conceptual artist Christopher Williams’s 2014 retrospective at MoMA and the Art Institute of Chicago. Distributed by Yale University Press, the idiosyncratic catalog was designed by Williams and Petra Hollenbach. As stated on the back cover, the Yale logo was developed by John Gambell, University Printer of Yale, along with Michael Bierut of Pentagram, and set, with formal modifications, in the Yale typeface, designed by Matthew Carter. The complete usage guidelines can be found at identity.yale.edu.
