This past Friday, the Harvey Cushing / John Hay Whitney Medical Library held its 75th anniversary kickoff party. It was the first in a yearlong series of events celebrating the library’s founding in 1941. The Office of the University Printer worked closely with the library to design a visual identity for its anniversary. The party featured 75th anniversary-themed posters, bookmarks, postcards, and color-changing “mood” pencils, all designed by the OUP. The visual identity even made it onto a cake, pictured below.
